Course Format:
This course will assess your skills and knowledge through both written and practical evaluations. Based on this information, you will be assessed at one of the following levels:
Journeyman
Craftsman
Artisan
C.R.A.F.T. Color Master*

In addition, you will have multiple assessments to determine your skills and knowledge of:
Hair structure, level and porosity
Color theory
The Color Wheel
Categories of haircolor
Designing with light and dark shades to refine facial shapes
Color Graduations
Multi-dimensional Color
Blonding Theory
The chemistry of lightening
Formulation and product selection
Stages of Lightening
Color Correction model
Identifying corrective color situations
Filling/Treating the hair
Creative coloring techniques

*Graduates who are qualified as Matrix C.R.A.F.T. Color Masters will receive a prestigious certificate to display for your clients, admission into the Matrix Color Master's community and will be added to the Salon Locator. In addition, there will be feature articles on Matrix.com on selected Masters and you will be invited to participate in continuing educational opportunities.
